Everyone wants thier foster animal to get well, grow up nice and strong, and ultimately, go to a loving home. Shelters have different agreements about after hours care, how much they will reimburse, when you as a foster parent should consider euthenaisa, and what an adoptable animal is. So when should you worry and when should you ride it out?

This is largely dependent on the age and health of your cat of course. Some things are normal in kittens but alarming in adult cats. Here are a few of the more common ailments.

Vomiting: May or may not be serious depending on the age and health of your cat. Kittens puke quite a bit but as long as it isn't happening regularly and they are kept hydrated and fed it probably isn't a problem.
